Big picture

Students, plan to come to the biggest party of the year and connect with old friends and make some new ones! Wristbands will be sold for $5.00 during all lunches on Wednesday, September 11 - Friday, September 13. The event is held after school on Friday, September 13 until 4:15 pm. Parents plan to pick up your students promptly at 4:15. Any questions stop at the front desk.

Parents you are also invited to join the fun! Parent volunteers can have some fun, connect with students in their 'school habitat' and help make the BLAST memorable. Teachers and Deans will be there, but we need parents to help with all of this fun too. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities and multiple volunteers are needed for each activity. Thank you for your support!

Activity Buses - Routes begin Monday, September 9th

Activity bus routes will begin the week of Monday, September 9th and run Monday thru Thursday only. There are only 3 activity buses available and they pick up students at Chippewa at 3:30 pm. Routes are longer then the normal after school buses and students may have to walk a few blocks to their home. Please help your student prepare to ride the bus by finding the bus number and bus stop they will use here. Any questions please call 651-621-6400.

Digital backpack

In the past, families looking for Community Education offerings, before- and after-school activities and community-organized events received a list of web links in each school enewsletter. To simplify these communications and distribute them in a more timely fashion, the District is partnering with a new digital backpack communication service called Peachjar. This fall, Mounds View Public Schools families will receive e-flyers via a “digital backpack” email that will deliver straight to your inbox on Fridays.

Here's how this will work:

  • No action is required on your part.

  • You will receive a welcome email from our service provider (Peachjar) that includes a username and password. This is provided to give you the opportunity to manage your account and flyer delivery preferences. You do not need to login to receive or view school digital flyers.

  • To ensure smooth delivery of this communication, we suggest you add “” to your email contacts.

  • When you receive your first eflyer, be sure to click “always display images.”

  • You can also visit your school’s website to see school-approved digital flyers. Simply click the Peachjar button on each school’s website.

This system is used exclusively for distribution of school-approved flyers. Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose. Questions? Email
