Vote today!

Early voting has started for all District residents at the Shoreview Library.

On the ballot:

  • If voters approve the levy request, the District will have more reliable funding to provide stable class sizes and comprehensive programs for students – for the next 10 years. If voters reject the levy, schools will lose $7 million a year. Class sizes would rise and programs will be cut starting next year.
  • Voters will elect four residents among these five candidates to serve four-year terms on the School Board:
    • Heidi Danielson, New Brighton
    • James DeMay, North Oaks
    • Jonathan Weinhagen, Shoreview
    • Sandra Westerman, Shoreview
    • Derek Whitcomb, Mounds View

Shoreview library: 4560 Victoria Street North

  • Tuesday, October 29 - November 1: noon - 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 2: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Monday, November 4: noon - 5 p.m.

Or vote at your polling location on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5.

ChAC

Last Friday we had the privilege to host the Halloween bash and about 340 students came to enjoy the fun, strutting their stuff in some really wonderful costumes, devouring hundreds of rolls of toilet paper, bowling pumpkins and enjoying way too much candy!

It is always a huge feat putting together these events and none of this would be possible without the support from our parent community, so whether you volunteered at the event, helped us clean up afterwards, donated soda or candy or sold wristbands, we want to thank you very much on behalf of each and every student.

Have a safe and fun Halloween!
